IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!

Wow, it's my birthday! I thank God for my life, for all the blessings He always gives me and my husband, for the good health, for the people I hold special in my heart. I thank God for the relationship I have with Him. The past years may have been rough but I always look forward to better days. It's His love which keeps me afloat and which enables me to love others too.

Well, He has given Anthony and me to have the chance to bless Asian neighbors, particularly the Cambodians in Battambang. We were invited by Pstr. Samuel Raguingan (my former student...ok, don't start counting the years to find out my age). Pstr. Sam is the Country Director of LoHI (Legacy of Hope International) based in Cambodia. I will be teaching English as a Second Language while Anthony will be holding Bible classes. We will be visiting villages to share God's Word.

This will be our first mission trip outside the Philippines. Cambodia will be a different experience for me. I taught in New York in the 90's and now, I will be doing the same in Asia. The mission trip will surely give another sense of fulfillment for both of us.

Right now, we don't have enough funds, we are still processing our papers but we have faith that God will help us raise funds. He has opened the door for us, He will see us through.

We have set our mission from Oct. 1-9. Help us pray for our mission to be successful.

To all those who donated and blessed us for the mission trip...our sincere thanks and may God give back to you a hundredfold. Thanks to Marly Sevilla Gonzales and Ruben Domingo who were first to respond to our letters. We pray more will join us in our cause.

You really Think Noynoy Will Win?

Who honestly thinks this guy will win? Ok, I don't have anything against this man. He comes from a respected family, his name has not been tainted by any scandal. He is intelligent, God-fearing, etc....BUT can he really lead? Will he come up to our expectations? Does he have a mind of his own or will he always let his sisters get a hold on his life? Imagine him being told by his youngest sister on national television to stay single for some reason. Actually, it was not a plea, it sounded like a line from a dictator.

Do we need a leader like him?

I'm not done with this... but I gotta go.

Scream Myself Blue? Not A Piggy Fat Chance!

There are so many reasons why we get stressed up... unpaid loans, deadlines to beat, tons of household chores, the economic crunch, judgmental and evil people who project themselves to be holier-than-thou, tormentors ( like some bosses), backstabbers, high prices of goods, people who put words into your mouth, dreamers who don't act on their dreams, the unpredictable weather, irresponsible leaders, young people who don't respect their elders, usurers, power-grabbers, unreliable reporters, grammatical errors, flash floods, cancer and other diseases, terrorists, sham actors, sex maniacs, ....the list goes on. And if someone imagines some stupid, nonsense past which never existed, should you scream yourself blue? Not a piggy fat chance kiddo! GET A LIFE! The world is beautiful !!!
